I thought, as a Patrol driver, you would know Patrols are invincible and unreliable Land Rovers will always break down. I'm sick of fixing my 130 Defender. After two Simpson trips, Darling River run, Cape York, western QLD, couple of corner country, Vic high country and countless short trips to the dividing range I've had to fix a broken tray mount.

    Hi Xer0,

You do realize that you wont be able to have just one, Land Rovers are very addictive, before long you will be searching for a nice Series 1 or a Series 3 Ute or A Range Rover Classic. I have two and if it wasn't for the Minister for Finance I'd have five. Just thought i would warn you.

    Cheers Jeff

There's a few cars like that....I started off with an early Volvo 245 as daily transport and somehow I now have a 142, 164E, early 244, 242GT, 245L van, and a few for spares....
And I'm now considering Land Rover......I may need help before long!!!

As a 4.8 patrol owner i'm sick of pulling into the servo and emptying my wallet of $200 every 500 - 600km's.

plus always wanted a 90 defender.

Welcome along. I've always had a soft spot for the shorties too but a little small for a family vehicle.
