I think they are doing a run into the border ranges, Mrs Ho-Har would know about that.

It was a great day for an easy social trip even if it was a trifle hot. The trip was run under the auspices of GCLRO but consisted of an assortment of GCLRO members, SLO Members and even one couple visiting from Townsville NQ.
8 Series vehicles attended, ranging from 3 S1 80", 3 S2 and 2as and two S3s and these were accompanied by an assortment of Classic Rangies, a couple of Discos and a number of Defenders (Series 8 or 9), 17 vehicles in all. Was a good easy run mainly on back block roads, visiting the NSW Railway loop on the Lions Road and then enjoying a refreshing dip in 'Running Creek' and a picnic lunch at Drynan Park.

Some, I believe, may even have made a short refreshment stop at Rathdowney on the way home!
    Regards
    Glen

You lot just didn't hang around long enough for the trains, 3 goods trains and 2 passenger trains went past while we were there.

    Cheers, Mick.
