We've had those cheap as funnel ones fitted on the last 3 vehicles and haven't hit anything yet.
Don't know if roos hear them but I have noticed sheep looking up startled and racing to get away even though I shouted out that they were safe as I wasn't a Kiwi.:D

A government department in Queensland that has branches out west fits shoo roos to most of their vehicles. The ones that don't have them fitted frequently get dented by Skippy. It has actually reduced their repair bills considerably.
