That fuel economy is actually so damn close - on fill ups I'm getting within 1/2 litre.

I thought 13.4l/100km was pretty good pushing a 2700kg brick at that pace

Thats about what my TD5 (admittedly modified a lot) gets at 110km/h...

Dunno what mine gets at those speeds as i haven't been on a private road safe enough to try yet

But pussyfooting on a long run lightly loaded i am struggling to get actual below 10.7L/100.
My D2a,with a BD chip would have got 9's easily,under the same driving conditions.

Not taking anything away from the D4,it is still a fantastic drive.......

SWMBO had it pointed up a muddy hill the other day and it just sat there going no where with all four wheels spinning.
Should have taken a vid of it but the camera was at home.
