    Trailer Rental East Vic

    Looks like my Defender has made it to Melbourne, but I need to get it from there to Vern's shed out in Mirboo North. Anyone know where I can rent/borrow a cheap transporter trailer for a few hours on Monday or Tuesday????

    Unfortunately i haven't a trailer you can borrow. But may I suggest you hire one from Bunnings hardware. As strange as this may sound they are fairly cheap for a tandem trailer rental. I think its approximately $68 per 24 hr hire you will need to pay a deposit which is refundable on return. Only downside to it is you need to return trailer back to where you hired it from.

    Not sure why you're getting so bent out of shape - I hardly faulted you or your recommendation. As it happens, the trailer does have a spare - it's just sitting with the guy who "maintains" the trailer at the moment, waiting for a puncture to be fixed

    I thought the trailer looked pretty good, and if I ever need to borrow one I'll be going there, I had no idea they had one. I'm sure it will be better maintained from now on, so I am glad it was recommended.
