Please - I put some news up = skeletons

    Hello Incisor,

I take it this post was either in praise of the song; or maybe a request for some news?

The other day I very subtlety put some news up in a post and either it came as no surprise to anyone, or people missed it.

Yes I am one of the 1 in 88 written in the bold writing part of the message.

Look for the General Chat thread....

    > One person's view of the floods & other natural disasters in Australia

    and the post

    > Asperger's Syndrome and employment -

Or maybe my posting has been obvious to a lot of people already

Well that is the skeleton out of the closet anyway - so when people meet me it might explain some things to them .

    Kind Regards
    Lionel

    Hello Incisor,

No, thank you - strangely enough I have written enough about the matter. My apologies for the hijack of the link .
Well that was all a bit socially awkward .... smile .... dance and exit stage right and perhaps no one noticed.
I hope the news you are waiting for has the outcome that you are after.

    Kind Regards

Hi Lionel I outed myself on here aswell best thing i ever did.Have made some good friends & even now get VISTORS something that i could not do before i outed myself.I have had a lot of smartass remarks slung at me & even some very rude vicious emails from it..It was a huge learning curve for me..I have had some PMs sent to me from people who also have proplems of there own , but have'nt felt they could say openly on the forum..The friends i have made from the forum are really quick to jump on anyone who has got something to say to me about it if they try to be smartass about it..I HATE having a mental health problem.& people just jump to the conclusion i'm Spysco but nowhere near it its totally the opposite.I have very severe PANIC ATTACKS which are very debilitating & to the ones who think its a joke well thats there problem. My hats off to you for saying it openly good on ya for it..Hope others see & show encouragement aswell..Its unbeleivable the surport i've received from people here..I hope they extend the same to you..We share some symptons aswell..

    G'day Jason,

Thank you very much for your support. If I ever need a mate to act as a doberman pinscher I will put you at the top of my list. By the way this goes two-ways, because I would do the same for you.

I think the biggest thing to ask for people to offer is the space of some moments of thought before they engage their mouths. Given a moment of tolerance anyone regardless of having a diagnosis will be able to thrive. What other people may consider are efforts that are not up to scratch could be the very best that someone can achieve. Nor can people sometimes see the amount of effort it can take to show one's face and the amount of down time to recover after being social.

Just because someone is different does not mean they feel any less than others do; or should be valued less.

I suppose a brief time to people to pause and exercise tolerance is all most people are after.

Thank you again Jason; take care Jason and say hello to Karen for me.

    Kind Regards
    Lionel

    Mr Postman

    Hello Incisor,

Perhaps this song might also be significant to your situation?

    [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AHfddvbKb4w"]Please Mr Postman- The Carpenters (1975) - YouTube[/ame]

On a much sadder note February 4th marked the 30th anniversary of Karen Carpenter's death Karen Anne Carpenter (March 2, 1950 – February 4, 1983)

    Kind Regards
    Lionel
