    Don,

You know and I'm pretty most others do too, but you have been ripped off.

Genuine parts are $62.63 from Britcar-UK. 20 to 30 for postage.

I buy all my gear from these guys and have been doing so for some time.

    Regards

Thanks Andrew, I do usually buy from UK and have never had a problem, when I'm in a hurry I buy local , but this time I got tripped up.

    lesson learned

and a big thanks to R2D2 one of the local members on here who has fixed me up with some Nolathane bushes, which I'll be more than happy to test out. They will get a proper work out too.

    cheers Don

Seller has apologised, which is all I really wanted, and come to the party sending out some actual OEM rubbers, which is great , Will keep them onboard incase the Nolathane ones are too harsh.

The Britparts are going in the bin unless anyone wants them ...( for free)

when I order I specifically state that I will not accept britpart parts

if people turn up with britpart parts for me to fit they are told that I will not do warranty work on the item when it fails.

The one that was in there when I bought the D2 was stuffed and had been glued in place with sikaflex or some other muck, but it still leaked. I really had no choice but to replace.

The britpart job was pretty marginal when new - it pushed in with light finger pressure so I think the issue was more than just o-rings.

    cheers

Another vote for Britcar-UK. They are so helpful and easy to deal with. When I was doing my rebuild I used to just send them spreadsheets of part numbers and magically I'd get boxes of GENUINE PARTS goodness in return.

I had such a horrific time with BritPART that I only fit genuine LR now, right down the washers that space out the firewall.
