Where in NSW are you ???
I recently had mine repaired at Cardiff Motor Trimmers, Newcastle.
Awesome job albeit $500 for 2x cars (wifeys sedan/ my Disco).
They took about 3 -4 hours to do it.

Hey everyone,
I'm looking for someone to point me in the direction of a trimmer? My roof lining has reached its last legs ( I hear it is a common problem in Discoverys).
I'm in NSW at the moment, and can get it fixed here, or I'll be back in the NT in the next month.
Can anyone help?
Cheers
Baz

If you're in Sydney, the northern beaches, I can recommend Eastcoast- Trimshop
If near Parramatta, AA Motor Trimming in Granville does them for just over $100 if you remove it first.

I was quoted 360 for the Disco and 210 for the wifeys car, I let her do the haggling over the phone as it didnt look nice in the Disco but I didnt mind.
She did mind about her car...
I had it done on that 46/47 deg day a few weeks back, the guys earnt there money as they couldnt get it in the shed to start.
Only took an hour for the wifes Dunny door.
There is also a place at Rutherford in the new industrial estate who quoted me $400 for the 2 but I sort of shied away when he said "This will be good, we have never pulled a LR roof apart before!"
I will recommend the guys at Cardiff as they have done them before numerous times, and its a awesome chance to see some of the show cars in there having work, like his 1450 HP Kingswood wagon straight from summer nats called "Bullpit", which he gladly started

PS the glue is called roof contact ,some bunnings have it, otherwise the glue factory.
If I did it it would look like I did it. I'm all for DIY but me thinks this job is best left to the professionals.

If you are in Sydney The Department of the Interior (consoles.com.au) Princess Hwy Carlton do a good job. I just had the roof lining on my single cab defender redone and they did a great job, more so because I had previously done a bad job of re glueing it which left lots of lumps when the old lining was eventually pulled off.

Thanks everyone,
I'm in Kellyville at the moment, not too far from ParramattaI rang around a few places and got prices from $250 - $600. I thought $600 was a bit rich. Spoke to a guy at Toongabbie who seemed to know what he was talking about, unlike a few of the guys I found online today, and he quoted around $350. So I might head down and see hime for a chat.
Getting a few little things like this sorted while I'm in Sydney. Will be driving back up to Darwin in a few weeks time. Love that drive!!
