    Advice non landy please

My daily drive is a 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe which I have just serviced for the first time, since it came out of warranty last October. To make it easy to get to the oil filter, I removed one of the turbo hoses which I obviously did not get right back on as it popped off on me while overtaking today.
Problem is, although I've put it back on and the car's driving fine, it has brought on the check engine light which I can't get to go out. I have tried disconnecting the battery with no joy and I would rather not take it into my local Hyundai dealer as I know how they can charge. Has any one got any ideas please or are there any cheap code readers I can buy to do the job?
Thanks in advance for any help Dave.

Anyone with a generic OBD2 scanner should be able to clear the check light. They are available on ebay from $10 upwards for USB/bluetooth varieties ex HK or hand held jobbies locally for $60 free postage. Any garage should have one, it should take a minute or three at the most. Probably available from the likes of supercheep too, if you don't like ebay.
