    Sounds very interesting.
I guess the little black box of electronics will be pretty busy though.

    No camshafts, eh?

Mazda did that back in '65 with the 10A.

I couldnt understand what he was calling the actuator....anyone help me there?
Its interesting that Jack Brabham in association with Repco were trying to do something with this concept when he was racing.....they were trying to get a fast lift long duration inlet /exhaust combination and destroyed many camshafts and heads trying to do it. They were trying to make square camshafts that do what Koenigsegg have now achieved.

Futher thoughts to this , the camshaft has been the bain of AA fuel dragsters in their fuel delivery over the years.....how much horsepower are they going to be able to make with a system like this? 8000 now......??????

AWESOME, but the some people would never want one, they have trouble accepting electronically controlled injectors.

Imaging being able to dial in your own torque curve, Fantastic idea.

You could get Isuzu like low down grunt & V8 top end performance, then lower the Tdci engine , straighten up the transfer case alignment and lose the 'orrible bonnet bulge on the Puma all at the same time

Igoring the extra power thing (nice to have it but its not a consideration for me as I'm happy to make do with series 2.25D power),

Fix the rest of that and loose the marketing **** speak and you'd probably find that I would start recommending pumas because it would sort about 80% of the issues with them.
