Sheeet, I can't complain at all then
My knee's getting better, only a little pain now and I didn't stop teaching yoga at all. (amazing what you can fudge through when you have to :D)

If I make you a reeeeeally nicely padded mechanics creeper and let you watch as much red dwarf/python as you want, you can come and do all the oils on the Disco? :D
Hope you recovery quickly mate, you've got a D3 to get fixing!
Sorry to hear that you have to go under the knife mate.
Hope you have a great physio and following on from that a reputable Pilates studio. Preferably with a professional relationship between the two so they can discuss your pathology and the best course of treatment.
My field so if you have any questions I'd be happy to help.
Bugger. It's a pity it turned out like this. :(
Good luck for the days ahead :)
Riddle me this one in the world of medics versus the world as it actually exists.......
Permission has been granted to escape here tomorrow, with the non-negotiable proviso that for the first two weeks, I am to spend no more than 20 minutes seated. Given that home is about 45 mins from the hospital, I asked the question how I was to achieve this.
I don't suppose anyone has a flying carpet that I could borrow? :D
A friend with a motorhome or caravan will be the best shot :D
My wishes that all it is going to be well in the future, take care and do not believe your brain when telling you that you are 20 years old, I am telling you that by experience, the body always win :D
Thanks for the push in the right direction - I did finally get to the doctor a while ago, and while he wasn't too cluey he did refer me to the physio, who seems to visit every week, (unlike some specialists up here).
And the cutest specialist I've ever seen, (Gawd, I'm middle-aged), gave me two simple exercises to strengthen a muscle I didn't know I had, (steady on boys), and to push the disc that was sticking out back to where it was supposed to be. That pretty much fixed it. The hardest part is remembering that I'm not 20 when I'm lifting car parts . . . it's a whole new approach these days. I seem to be at a 10kg limit for lifting anything.
Oh, and I quit my job that required driving around in a Mahindra every morning. Worse ride than an old Land-Rover.
Good luck with your recovery and be sure to keep us informed, and don't drop any heavy books on your face!
