Monsoon here at the moment and our creek is up about 6 feet again

I've been told not to throw the cat out tonight

This is what it looked like in parts of my town this afternoon.
It is about 50cms higher now than in this photo as per the town gauge.

Doing this from Forumrunner so if the photo doesn't work blame it.

I’m pretty sure the dinosaurs died out when they stopped gathering food and started having meetings to discuss gathering food

A bookshop is one of the only pieces of evidence we have that people are still thinking

Not looking so bleak for Logan/Albert at the moment, all below minor flood levels and steady or dropping upstream from us.

Unfortunately not down here, we might pick up a bit over the next few days which would be good but we'll have to wait and see.

The BOM didn't give flood warning for Woolloongabba. People were rescued by boat from the Russian Hall in Lotus Street.
