I drive from Mackay to Sarina each day for work and there is a house next to the "old turf farm" that has what looks to be a nicely restored Series Land rover out the back (as well as a Range rover out the front). I'm so tempted everyday to go and say "Hi!" but always woos out.
Was wondering if any of you are the owner of that nice looking vehicle.
Mind you I never get to see the whole thing because I'm driving at 60km/hr and there's only a driveway to see down (and over a high gate which is closed most of the time too).

There doesn't seem to be that many people from mackay area on here regularly. Only a couple of guys. Pity really... I see all the fun stuff SEQld people get up to and feel left out
+1 for Mackay members (moved last week). Just looking for a Landie now...
I was out driving this week looking at blocks of land in the hilly northern side of Mackay (yep, working on suburb names still) and had a similar experience with a recent model LR 90.

Well, I'm not in Mackay, but just north up here at Proserpine. We get down to Mackay maybe a dozen times a year, when we need too.
We've got our own Bunnings up here now, and as soon as we get a Spotlight, the missus won't have much reason to go down there either
