Its rare for a finance company to get the colour that wrong on a mainstream new model so get the regs cert. Check the Vin and engine no. As it may be worse it could be stolen .
Also see if he can cancel the cheque or cash transfer with his bank or at least freeze the money.

I would go to the police and also ask legal advice. Perhaps the best is approaching the lender and explain the problem to see if it is possible to arrive to some kind of agreement

Find the name of the bugger and see if he have a page in Facebook and make sure that all his friends now what he is capable to do.

I rang esanda, they are very keen to know its current garaged address.....

The car has only been registered for three days, I will have a chat with him in the morning and suggest he cancel the rego and insurance and ring esanda

I hope this default on finance follows this arsehole to England and gives him grief with his new life

Unfortunately, there are no agreements between the UK and Australia for collection of debts (except statutory debts - fines/taxes). He will have got away Scott free.

They come for 10 pound and on this occasion leave with 10 grand.

i just tried the rev check now after paying the transfer of registration on my ute today and it said there is no registration on that number

Can the police do something about it, after all it is a fraud?
