    Cool Rangeco hybrid

I am contemplating making a hybrid like this one I have photoshopped.

I have seen them in a Landrover magazine from years ago (have been uploaded to Flickr by some)
I am wondering if anyone on here has done this before and what problems may arise. I have a 96 disco and hoping to get a late classic front end.

I don't think it offends just purists, it offends all people with functioning eyes!

Although I agree with Bigjon on the looks, but I can't see why it couldn't be done fairly easily, but it will end up looking like what it is - a Classic front end tacked onto a Disco.

Personally I didn't think the Disco looked too bad the way it was, and the Classic looks good the way it is - not sure why you would want to glue them together.

I like Superquag's idea about the engine and gearbox...

Bumped into a guy yesterday who is sticking a 4 litre Lexus V8 in his 88 Classic at the moment - can't wait to see how that ends up. I'm trying to get him on this forum to post the results...

I understand the outrage of combining the two, reason behind it is I will be converting it to a ute eventually, so why not have something completely unique for a while I'm sure it would gain some interest. The 3 door disco lets me have a good cab with no special mods. Once a ute I would prefer the rangerover front over the disco. This way I have a 300tdi range rover ute.
