    what i actualy do

push reset buttons and think up ingenious ways of justifying my highly paid job.

I do similar to Sparksdisco but for a govt hospital, and not just on electrical systems, although nowadays there is very little equipment that doesn't involve electrickery.

There are some seriously cool jobs out there that some of you have.. Others sound as boring as my I.T. job, I hate I.T. would love to do something different.. But at 43 I am stuck in my ways now, had it too easy for too long. I would love to own a vineyard, that sounds one of the better ones, but then every job will have it's stresses, but with the mortgage and the Defender and a new baby arriving, I do not think a change is on the horizon.

My dream when I was younger was to own a cafe in the south of France, I think I got that from when I lived in the UK, every time I went traveling, I would see the old man sit outside his cafe reading the paper, then come in to serve you when you needed it. Always seemed a great job. maybe a little to sedated for me now and I never ever thought about where his income came from when he was reading the paper..

I guess we do what we do for a crust, live life as best we can jumping every hurdle put in front of us. I just hope that the last stretch is a stroll rather than a sprint to the finish line..

I'm currently a welder working in the automotive industry but prior to that I was a tour guide running extended backpacker tours between Perth and Exmouth for eight years.
