    Used to work in private sector building companies; got retrenched in 1990, was then seduced by the holidays (certainly not the pay) at TAFE and have been there since, also lecturing at Uni of NSW in Construction Mgt and property. Also have been involved in a few private construction and property development jobs on the side.

    Fire Door contracting, commercial & residential towers...

    Depending on the time of day i could be a project manager, estimator, scheduler or certifier, i rarely get my hands dirty though, installation is subcontracted out

    That's interesting Jon. I was at Yandi for 5 years - used to be the manager of the other two plants there. Last "big" one I did was Mesa A for RTIO, where I worked with many of the same people who you would have been working with at RGP5 (we both used the same sizers).

    Currently working for a much smaller company on smaller projects - though we get to work in some more attractive spots (sometimes). One of the current projects involves a couple of small islands off the Kimberley coast.
