I’m pretty sure the dinosaurs died out when they stopped gathering food and started having meetings to discuss gathering food

A bookshop is one of the only pieces of evidence we have that people are still thinking

When? I got my licence in '65 and never had P plates. Full licence immediately.

My bike licence test consisted of riding about 200 metres down the road, turning around and coming back.

Found it. Obviously post-1964 - that's when the Morris 1100 was introduced.

Someone who knows these things could look at the 1100's no. plate and tell you the year it was registered.

Ta. My wife got her licence in 1966 and didn't have P-plates, either. See http://www.aulro.com/afvb/general-ch...tes-start.html

P plates introduced in 1965 - they were for 12 months only.

Are you sure? Neither my wife nor I had them. She got her licence in '66 and I got mine in '65.

it has to be pre 1967 because that is the last year 1100 had bumper over-riders, our 1967 HR had "EHO" prefix. IIRC Victoria introduced P plates before NSW, don't know about ACT

My brother definately had P's in 1969

You won't find me on: faceplant; Scipe; Infragam; LumpedIn; ShapCnat or Twitting. I'm just not that interesting.
