Apologies from the 'xtreme' grandkids Lou - they're still in holiday mode and haven't had a chance to print the sheets out.

Some excellent entries and congrats to all those who put in the effort and submitted - you've all given Lou a hard job.

    Winners

Ok Guys so I have looked and looked and looked and I tell yeah it wasnt the best competition idea I had because it was bloody hard to choose it really was.

I have chosen pictures because I felt there was specific things in them that I liked that your kids had done...so I wasnt just looking for the neatest is what I'm saying. so here it goes.

    1. AWABBIT- Adam (10) will put Hannah (13) up here is as well because she did a very good job too, all your kids appear quite talented with a pencil but Adam did win it for you i liked his gentel use of the pencil while shading
    2. LEBANON - Alexandre (9) I loved the fact the lights were put in on the roof rack it just added a personal touch along with the traditional white roof
    3. DARK - Taryn (12) & Shelby (9) Taryn won it for you Dark but I put them both up there as there pictures were so similar i felt both did a very good job and i really liked the fact that they paid attention to using shading on the trees both branches and foliage and shading under the car.

Now as for the others the list carries on

    • 4th Yorkie - Fred (8) he did a wonderful job of the car and was extremely neat!!
    • 5th Incisor - Madison (4) I thought Madison did a sterling job I felt for a 4 year old she has done such a good job of staying in between the lines especially in the windows...and on the tyres
    • 6th Gille - Miss (4) Again such a good job for a 4year old she too has done well in the window but I like the fact she attempted the ground and the spaces between the animals and the car and didnt do to bad....does look like she got a little bored and and started drawing princesses and they were pretty good too

congratulations everyone and thank you for participating...it was lovely for you and your kids to share their efforts with me and the rest of the forum, I really enjoyed coming home from work and seeing the latest entry.

Now I know I said first, second and third however I felt that all the kids did so well and it was so hard to chose I'm going to give all entries a calendar the first 3 will get one or two things extra, nothing big but you will all get something so could I ask that you all tell your kids that they have won it for you..you will have the calendar to prove it and that you all send me you postal address so I can get these things off to you as soon as I have the time.

Please note I'm on call so working 10days on, so nothing will be sent out until late next week at least.

Thanks for taking the time to organize this Dullbird.

The hour of school holiday entertainment was a prize in itself. Having a winning entry is a bonus!

Great competition. There were some fantastic colourerinerers. I didn't envy you trying to pick winners.

I know the comp's over, but are we still allowed to download the picture for colouring in at a later time? (because it's a really cool picture)
