    Why can't I access a thread?

There is a thread here titled "I have enough with Holden". This thread has been moved. When I try to view it this what I get.

Mr Whippy, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:

    1. Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
    2. If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.

Can any one tell me why?
    Dave.

I was asked " Is it ignorance or apathy?" I replied "I don't know and I don't care."

Doesn't work for me. Maybe Cantina 2.0?

It's disappeared from my recent posts too.

Probably got abit tasty and the mods / admin have shut it down. I can see that they have to keep control of things but this kinda thing seems to be happening more and more frequently (or else I'm on here more often - which may well be the case). As far as I could see it wasn't too lively a thread.

Just the usual poorly informed opinions, thinly veiled insults.

It was becoming too much like a soapbox thread with a number of protagonists arguing against each other and not the topic.

You won't find me on: faceplant; Scipe; Infragam; LumpedIn; ShapCnat or Twitting. I'm just not that interesting.

From the replies here I am assuming that it has been removed, not moved. It would have saved me time starting this thread if it had stated this.

There is nothing sinister going on, a question has been asked by one of the mods if the thread was getting a bit out of hand or not. So it was parked overnight for discussion tomorrow.
    Cheers,

Year, ok I can kinda see that and I fully accept that it's a call made as a mod (a position which I respect and an effort which I appreciate). But as far as I could see it was more a case of one guy got set about by a few for expressing a different opinion and having a set of values that differed from theirs. For a forum described as.....

General Chat Almost anything goes, have a look and drop in a few lines. Think of it as a campfire chat with the kids around.
I thought it wasn't too bad, jeez how long can you stay on topic around a camp fire? However, I most probably missed the straw that broke the camels back. I was anticipating something close to the bone in the next four posts. My guess was right wing and racist, just a feeling I had.

Maybe they stopped it BEFORE it got to the "too bad" point. Better stopping a mess from happening than cleaning it up.

Year I'm with you on that one Muppet. Was reading through the Thatcher thread earlier, plenty to say but not the place to do it. I guess discretion is the best part of valour.

Still a few more cold ones to go.

I was wondering if that would get shut-down.
I just saw it on Yahoo before I went to bed and thought "Wonder if AULRO knows".
