Thread: fuel consumpsion

2003 hse disco with 18 inch wheels if i change these to normal size mags will it improve on fuel milage can anyone help plz

they are the normal size for that vehicle.....if you fit larger tyres you may decrease fuel consumption marginally , but it increases your final drive and you may require a larger throttle opening to maintain road speed. what engine/gearbox are you running? what fuel economy are you currently getting? what fuel economy are you hoping to achieve? There is heaps of info on fuel economy in "the pinnacles"........or you can fit a hi-clone.
