    How enthusiastically do you wave?

I just did a trip from Cairns to Brisbane and got a few waves from fellow Land Rover drivers from all makes and wondered about others waving habits.
I played the if you wave then I wave game, much to the amusement of my wife.

To put it to the test I am planning on waving to every Land Rover on my way back up to see if I get a better strike rate.

Another funny waving game i like to play with passengers is, wave to a specific make. So you might say holden, and you have to wave to every holden you see, very enthusiastically of course. Maybe i'm just easily amused, but it usually gets a laugh.

Driving around Eyre peninsula in south australia is the only place I've seen where nearly everyone waves to everyone, wonder how this originated?

I wave all the time to fellow Land Rover owners, even when I'm in the Commodore. No one waves back much though...

My wife finds it hilarious that I have joined the "old mans club" and she sees a Landy coming and asks if I am going to wave to my new friend.

That's fine, 1,800 km's of enthusiastic waving will be payback on the trip home.

As a side note I pulled in behind a disco II at the lights in Mackay, kept sight of him till Rocky, but amazingly 13 hours later watched him take the turn to the airport in Brisbane.

When I wen o the cape last year I waved to every single D4 I saw, and not a single one replied. I miss the days of my 66 mini where everyone waved to each other!

Of the Land Rover owners I've encountered (outside of my local area) I find Defender owners wave the most, Range Rover owners wave the least, and Disco owners are somewhere in the middle

On a recent trip to Adelaide & return ~1400 kms I waved to every Land Rover & Range Rover. They all snobbed me, not one returned wave

Growing u in the country, we waved to anyone on a dirt road, it was just something everyone did.

I wave occasionally, but other Rangie owners seem reluctant, or is that snobbish?
