    Had the other eye op

Had the cataract removal and lens replacement op on my left eye on Wednesday morning. No fuss, straight forward.
Yesterday I just took it quietly. The eye was very red, a little uncomfortable and the pupil enlarged.
This morning well and truly on the mend, starting to look normal and vision excellent. Taking a little bit of adjusting to get the pair of eyes synchronised and focased but that will only last a couple of days.
Have to take it easy for three weeks, cant lift anything heavy, bend over to pick something up and try not to sneeze. Had some practice because I had the right eye op last November which was a complete success. For the first time in twenty years I was able to read without wearing reading glasses, even with the cataract on the left eye.
The trick now will be understanding what the fine print means and for the first time in years, if it wasn't for the gut, I would be able to see IT.

For anyone with cataracts, I would say, DONT hesitate to have them removed..

    Cheers.

I felt the same way! I could see the individual leaves in the trees. Use to be that my nose was too long to get focus. Now my arms are too short!
