Oh, and welcome to the forum
I have had a number of range rovers and discovery's but I have just purchased a series 1 swb that needs a ground up resto (am told it's a 1950 model) also got a few spare cars thrown in. I am hoping to find an enthusiast in Brisbane (hopefully on the northside- i am at narangba) that could come and give me some pointers as to how to go about restoring it and also mentor during the project, give knowledge on where to get parts (new & 2nd hand), what to & not to do.
I am willing to pay expenses for the right person.
please reply via email
your help would be much appreciated

MMM 1950... awkward model,
Id suggest package them all up and send them far far away....
I dont know... like to the riverland maybe?
Seriously, the 80's are the base all other landys are from so what a great
thing you have!. Other than the gunbuggy I reckon they are the top landy to have, enjoy!
You'll get lots of advice in the pinnacles in the series 1 section and there are a few experts aboard too.
Also some of our members have parts/services for sale and may be able to assist too. (ownership of an 80" makes you eligable to join "SLOw".
Basically we are just all interested in saving whatever examples we can and living through the photos of the restoration and trips of others!!
Enjoy!
