I would love to do this, unfortunately Im on workcover at the moment from my normal job (arborist) so while I have time off to do it I would probably get found out & done for fraud.
Maybe I should do it for free!
We are looking for someone, preferably Perth based, to drive the support vehicle for a TV crew.
You'll be expected to keep up with a truck ( Can ya Guess what the show is yet). We are driving from Perth to The Gibson and Tanami Deserts Via Alice Springs and the Tanami Road.
You'll be starting TOMORROW as in Thursday May 30. It's for at least two weeks. Four if you want.
You'll be driving the (Non Land Rover) support vehicle, setting up and managing the camp, and driving the camera guys (Me) up ahead to get shots of the truck passing by and getting bogged.
You'll need to be resilient, good humoured and resourceful.
Pay details on Application.
Email me a short note with why you are eligible to info@palatineproductions.com.au

Cheers
Ian.

Geez, I wish you'd given me more warning!
Anyway, there should be a long line of plastic car parts all along the track. Look out for idiots overtaking blind through dust. Try and get some shots of the night sky, which was easily the the most spectacular I've ever seen it. (I keep meaning to go back.) I think one of the Aboriginal communities was starting a little caravan park, if I remember right.
Tell us when it's on the telly so we can look out for it, too!
At any given point in time, somewhere in the world someone is working on a Land-Rover.
