Briagalong - Info Pls
Hi All
Looking like we are heading to Briag tomorrow for a day or 2. Never been that way always gone onto Dargo/Licola. Considering how wet it has been wanted to check on terrain in the area.
I assume tracks are not clay based? Are there any tracks to avoid (dangerous/real steep/technical). Anything of note worth looking at?
Looking to stay in a camp off Freestone Creek Rd.....
We are travelling alone. TD5 Defender. Muddies. Winch.
Thanks,
Mike

I guess you've already left by now, but I was at Freestone creek a few months back and it was completely dry. I don't think there has been that much rain lately - not enough to go from dry to deep, so I'll be interested to hear how much water you find! The road that follows Freestone is nothing bad. The tracks off it vary, so apply some common sense and you'll be fine.
We ended up heading over to the Mitchell river which was lovely.
Let me know what it's like!
