    [QUOTE=Ean Austral;1929819]Common Guys,

    There is only 1 album worthy of that title, our daughters made us listen to it for months and months....

    ..THRILLER....MICHAEL JACKSON.

    Cheers Ean[/QUOTE

    I think "Off The Wall" is Michael Jackson's greatest album. It was recorded at a time when they didn't want him to go by himself, but he stood his ground and recorded it and the rest is history

    the question was the "best".....not your favourite....if we go back 50 yrs 'South Pacific' would be the best. if the answer is taken from maximum record sales it could be Yehoudi Menyiun, the woulds greatest recognised Violinist....

    Strictly speaking, the question that Muppet asked was "Greatest album ever?", which as three word questions go, is very much open to interpretation.

    If it was best selling album of all time, then we could have just gone to Wikipedia and copied and pasted, and killed the thread in two posts.

    As it is, I've spent half of the thread with a wander down memory lane, and the other half alternating between thinking "who the hell is that" and "what the hell were they thinking when they proposed that album?".
