Based on the success of the sea slug ID thread, can anyone pls identify this not so friendly critter?
He was found in our shade cloth at Quandong Point, north of Broome last July. Body about 2.5 inches long.

That was quick. Thanks! Seems to be redder and larger than the bio of AM but does bear a very similar resemblance.
It may be one of the introduced varieties or even a different variety.
What makes you think he's 'not so friendly'? I don't know what this one is, but I always give critters the benefit of the doubt when I come across them. Even the ones I know are bad - like the red backs that live in my scrap steel pile out the back. There are all sorts of others around the place but I just assume they are all part of our Eco system and let them get on with what ever they do.
If I find one inside the house I don't like, I will just relocate it outside.![]()

Well he doesn't exactly look friendly.
And I didn't kill it. I let it go in the sand dunes.
