Yes, all the cars are 5.0L, & all run a transaxle.
The M.B. engine is based on the dry sumped 6.2L unit found in the SLS, a wet sump version of the same engine is found in the C63, of which I have one!
Yes, the "production" Volvo engine is 4.4L, but it will run at 5.0L, and development of this engine has been going on sinse last year, according to Volvo. Rogers says he hopes to have a running car by last 1/4 '13.
