Haha, got that right, sure aint a Rangie. Rules are rules I'd go with what I understand, earlier 2door. But not with THOSE axles. What were they thinking?

We used to take our RRS anywhere and everywhere. That was until we got the Defender.

A change of shoes and the Sport is still ready go offroad any day...in comfort. We're well past worrying about pinstriping. They're never going to buff out

I am pretty happy with my MY99 P38, very capable offroad and great onroad, in stock configuration.

L322! Simex shoes, TDV8, some decent bash plates, sliders, front and rear bars (custom made if needed), snorkel and waterproofed electrickery...

The reason I didn't list rrc or p38 was the lack of a decent diesel. Fuel economy and range with the petrols aren't good.

If mods were allowed I'd be taking my isuzu powered rrc.

Hmmmm.... price and running costs out of the picture.......

Gimme a Vogue with the big super charged V8....... this has to be the best of bloody everything there can be in comfort and ability doesn't it?

Shame about the range....... but then, I can afford heli-fuel drops into Wombat or the Flinders..... or The Kimberley.... or anywhere else can't I?

How much are we allowed to mod the Ramgie ?

How about a 3 litre turbo-diesel (any make, LR or pref. Jap) along with similar axles/diffs/transmission as required, dropped into a mildly lifted early Classic without sway bars. Tyres to suit preferred terrain.

Grunt, go ANYwhere, range and reliability.
