Bollard Arrow Altermatives (Material for construction - costs)

The mountain bike club to which I belong has placed about 30 bollards along our local mtb trail. The width of each bollard is 100mm and each has an arrow embedded into a space designed to receive a square plaque (not sure of correct term). We are interested in obtaining least cost alternative to replace the arrows in different colours that conform with IMBA as cf those came with the bollards. Current square plaque is made of thick plastic-polypropylene like material. Alternatives such as s/steel or anodised aluminium???

Any suggestions gratefully accepted... especially as to cost...

See my thread in general about plasma/laser cutting.
Get Mick from possum plasma to burn out the plaque and arrow in 1.6mm 316SS
Paint the recess with appropriate colour.
Attach stainless plaque and the arrow will be in the colour behind.

I imagine coreflute would last 2 minutes considering the scratches (graffiti) on the existings

Thanks. Will look that one up. That's the idea I had in mind.
