    ABS USB Amigo - WANTED

I am the new owner of a V8 Discovery II and I have had the 3 amigos appear recently. After reading a few forums about this problem I feel it's best to get my hands on an ABS USB Amigo V1 device. Does anyone know where's the best place to buy locally? Just thought I would try locally before looking for one from the U.S.

I am happy with the car and I am impressed by the amount of knowledge and information found on this website. I feel confident that this is a place I can visit to find out more about my new Disco.

    Cheers,

    Drew.

Have you looked in the D2 section as well as the good-oil of this forum.

There some cheap and permanent solutions to the three amigos for near to no cost.

The ABS USB has been discussed on here previously but not consider the best solution.

    Hi Andrew,

Thanks for the quick reply. I did have a look at some of the forums and I read about a guy that attempted the 3 amigo fix which didn't work for him. He was advised to check the fault code using the USB device before attempting the fix.

I will do another search for the options you mention.

    Cheers,

    Drew.

If you do buy, compare it also to the Nanocom. The Nanocom is more expensive but does an incredible amount more than just read and clear ABS codes.

    Hi Slunnie,

Can you confirm the Nanocom works with the V8. I thought I read somewhere it was only suitable for the TD5 for some reason.

    Cheers,

    Drew.
