Military land rover 'dash board' cover

    Hi,
I have just picked up an ex-army 110 and the cover for the dash board lights is missing. Is it a standard defender one or did the army have different bulb arrays? If it isn't the same, can anyone please post a photo of the dash lights so I can make one up myself... Thanks, Stripey

It should be standard 80's era, if not the same as early Defenders. The 6by ones are a tad different..

    G'day Folks

Maybe DeeJay can measure his then pass it on to Stripey1 as well as the spacing, could even be possible to remove it and trace it and it's holes on some paper and post it to him.

    cheers

I believe Stripey is talking about the warning symbols on the dash not the flip-up cover that goes over it for black out conditions, nor the actual binnacle. The 6x6 has the same symbols as the 4x4 with the exception of having a representation of the 6x6 drive train that comes on when the centre diff and third axle is engaged. So a tad (slighty) different.

Thought you were saying the whole Dash was slightly different

I don't know what you guys are complaining about. I can't see any differences in those dashes. Should I put my glasses on?

Stripey1, I've been buying lots of little bits and pieces for my 110 lately and so far everything from early Defender has been a match. Unless it's something expensive, I've pretty much given up trying to find a specific 110 part, and just order the early Defender pieces. So far so good.

Aah! OK DeeJay that pic was of an FFR then, going by the centre dash instruments, Volt meter and Hour meter.
