I wish I could go but will have to watch this one from home again

Was the same when Alan Mcgilvray retired.
I thought the game would never be the same again.
I used to watch the tv with the sound turned down and the ABC turned up.
Was a pleasure to listen to that mans voice.

Couldn't agree more. It will be the same from a TV prospective when old "Richie" falls off the perch.

My favourite commentator was a man called John Arlott, who used to commentate during the Lillee/Thomo era....I remember listening to his commentaries on the radio, and his descriptions were so good, you could almost "see" the player(s) he was talking about.
And, as far as who is going to win this series,...well I don't know where Beefy gets his 5 nil to England from......pretty hard to pick at this stage IMHO.
