The test series has been great and I will always prefer it to the hit & giggle. But I have found myself strangely drawn to the BBL this year.

SWMBO has even threatened that she wouldn't mind going to watch it live
As least is is some sort of cricket she is watching and I may still yet be able get her to follow the real cricket.

very satisfying to finish 5-0. loved the team song in the middle.

Well done boys, one of the great sporting come backs - up there with Kieren Perkins.
    Cheers,

I watched it in delay and it has just finished(5.50 Melb time)

    How sweet is this.

My pick for man of the series is Mitch Johnson, pipping Haddin by a whisker.

They both should get it as joint winners IMO.
    Dave.

I was asked " Is it ignorance or apathy?" I replied "I don't know and I don't care."

    Thumbs up

Being an old Pom, I barrack for the Poms, & boy haven't they needed that support during the "reign" of Warne, Mcgrath, Waugh etc etc.
So, we've had a little bit of success during the last few years, which has been good, but nothing like the magnitude of being absolutely CRAPPED on 5-0 in this series. So, I say well done to the Aussies, & well done to Mitch Johnson.
The interesting aspect will now be, for me anyway, how will long will it take to regroup, & how will we do it?
But again, congrats to the Aussies.

Pickles, if Australia can do it , so can England. That is why Aus. can't get complacent. We have the right coach for that. Bring on South Africa. Bob

A bookshop is one of the only pieces of evidence we have that people are still thinking

I'm not an "old" Pom, but this (and the Rugby, eh Bob ) are the only times remaining that I still cheer for them. Rarely does an Ashes series disappoint, with drama and some superb individual performances.

All the superb individual performances have been on the Aussie side this time, with Johnson, Haddin and Rogers all putting their hands up.

It's been an emphatic victory this time, well done Michael Clarke and the Aussie team.

    .

Can't wait for the next test, When Australian cricketers go well, it seems to inspire the rest of the mob. Ewan is still weaving his magic. Bob

What is the difference between the English cricket team and Cinderella?

Cinderella new when to leave the ball.
