    Brings back my younger days!

You seem to have some different names, slightly different models than we had, and we preferred 2door versions more often. That being said, it is always interesting seeing the differences.

    Thank you for the pics!

I bet you is real sad you dont own it still
Almost as sad as me with the new KING of AWEstralia laying into the vehicle fringe benefits/salary sacraficing cream pie
Was thinking of looking into salary sacraficing one of the last GTs when the new FH comes out

Very sad indeed,, let it go too cheap too apparently too, according to the president of the GT club at the time. Reckons he'd have paid double what I had on it, sight unseen . Them's the breaks, young dumb and umm ahh, stupid,,
Did a Dukes type jump across a railway line out at Walla one night. The front hit so hard the sump plug got ripped out
The new GT's are nice, but I don't like the plastic interiors they all have now,, kind of all seems too clinical or something. Dad had the LTD of the same year, man was that a nice car, all soft leather, just beautiful.
Nothing quite like the old steel of yesteryear.

    Thumbs up

It certainly was a great show.....and for sure there were the reminders of the cars we "used to own"....like the A9X that I sold in the early 80s for $13K with only 22K on the clock!
    Cheers, Pickles.
