    Indeed. Been around a looooong time.

    Am I the only one who thinks it is a hideous POS???

    It only has a 235HP 3.5 Rover V8. You could pay a competent panel beater to build one for a lot less than $155k. At the same time you could fit wider track axles, decent brakes and suspension that works so it would handle a billion times better than that POS.

    If you want a classic roadster then don't start with a Land Rover...

    id build my idea on a mordernish Forest rover long before that......think start with a series 3 or at latest stage 1, link suspension front/rear steering planetries and kenetic suspesnion. For road driving id spend the some of the left over on a MK1 VW golf and be way more comfortable than that thing

    Definitely not alone, that thing is as ugly as sin! Would have been a bit more logical to start with an on-road performance oriented chassis than a farm hack.

    I'd rather a Caterham or similar...
