I've watched this,, pretty ordinary locals doing stupid stuff trying to get through/around them,, and could of been a good add for a snatch strap.

Who is the guy featured in the vid, he's got another vid, along with a few others, on the Canning Stock Route which is very well done. Informative, witty with spectacular scenery. Would he be a local here by any chance?

    Yep,
I agree, I reckon it was a setup. I've recovered our 100HP FWA tractor bogged at least that deep with a snatch block and an ALDI winch on the the Disco 3. Slow and steady does it and don't dig bloody great holes with the tractor under power.

Smells ? - I'd say it reeks of one...

Or else it's a Tutorial on 'What NOT to do' (at every stage from bogging to recovery)

Yeah I just watched his Canning Stock route one too, looked like he was in an ex Telecom 130 TD5 extra cab.
He certainly seemed to know what he was doing, it was very well done. I liked his funny comments about being bent over a barrel to pay $3.00 a litre for diesel, and the taxi driver that reversed into the bloke in Newman.

I'll have to check out his others.

    cheers

Brings back memories of Malcolm Douglas
Only needs some don burrows in the background
I think I'll leave a comment on his movies and try to get him to join AULRO
With Wilmsy on board it's really a mix of Alby and Malcolm

I got my D1 bogged on a worksite a few years ago. The tractor that tried to pull me out got bogged, then the D4 that tried to pull the tractor out got bogged. We all got rescued in the end by a 50 tonne excavator I'll see if I can dig up some pictures at home tonight. Was a blast.
