    Small quad bikes

My 5y old grandson recently got a small quad bike with a 49cc motor. What 2 stroke mix do these run? I suspect 50/1 but I am not sure. I can't tell the make of the motor. Jim

Buy a good quality 2 stroke oil. I have used Castrol Powerstroke TTS in everything for many years. I believe it is the oil Stihl rebrand as their own. 50:1 is all you need. Despite what most people think, more all makes a 2 stroke run lean. The fuel is more dense so less flows through the tiny jets used on small engines.
