I can not get over the price difference from UK to AU, it is selling in UK around 60,000 pound but here just under 200k how the hell do they get the price difference, surely tax's wouldn't be that high.

Stunning car. Great alternative to a 911. Though given the choice, I would probably still go for the Porsche because it is ultimately a better drive.

It may be a better drive but the jag is by far better to look at and the sound well I said that before

    Importing a luxury car.
Take the customs value - $102,000 (Current exchange rate on £60,000)
    Customs duty -5% of CV - $5,100
    Transport & insurance - $2,200 (Approx)
All that equals the Luxury Car Value - $109,300
GST is payable of the LCV - $10,930
    Which equals - $120,230
Luxury car tax is now payable on this figure. This kicks in at 33% above $60,316 for the 13/14 financial year.
    (LCV-LCT threshold) x 10/11 x 0.33 so 120,230-60,316 x 10/11 x 0.33 = 17,974.20

So, now you are at $138,204 before you take into account Dealership charges and markup - around $6 to $10K on something like this, then there's the big one - LIVING IN AUSTRALIA!!!! Which on this car works out to roughly $30K!!!!
Yep as you said - a bloody ripoff...

I would seriously consider donating a kidney for an F-Type.
