Hey James, I bet that was the one in the Silver SE D4, no hope there for a wave, My wife waves on my my behalf when she is driving my D4. I am under instructions to wave at minis when I am driving her mini cooper s clubman - I am judicious about that though as some male drivers of other minis might get the wrong idea .

BTW both the red and yellow 110's refuse to return my wave. There is also a bloke in a stornoway grey tray back 110 that also refuses to wave. I might need to add bullbar, RWC & snorkle to my D4 before I am considered to have any amount of LR credibility in their eyes
    Cheers,

I pulled up next to the red one at the lights the other day and beeped at the drive until he waved at me.

The yellow 110 lady always waves.

I passed a grey 90 almost identical to mine on camp st in katoomba this morning towing a green box trailer. Never seen it before, but got an enthusiastic wave from the driver.

Most enthusiastic wave I've got was from a D1. Arm out the window, flailing peace sign. Was mint!
Also had D2s, D3s, D4s, Defenders, Had a lady in an Evoque come and have a chat in the SCA carpark once.

Try the bush wave, one finger off the steering wheel, nod of the head, a silent " G'day", no aggressive eye contact. Sounds like there a few woman drivers around the country who think Landy drivers are a bit suss, Bob
I’m pretty sure the dinosaurs died out when they stopped gathering food and started having meetings to discuss gathering food

A bookshop is one of the only pieces of evidence we have that people are still thinking

It was a joke mate, don't worry about it
I normally on do the "bush wave" as you say, unless I personally know the person.
