    Anyone used this stuff

    G'day.
Anyone know anything about this stuff ?
Could it be a replacement or addition to the normal tubeless tyre repair kit ?
Could you air down with it ?
Never heard of it untill i saw the add in a fourby mag.

yes, I've used it for years in variuos vehicles, esp good in split rims as it seals the tube holes as they happen (from sand abrasion).
I always carry a bottle or 2 in the car.

Not that particular brand, but 'Slime' & 'tyre seal' in the 1 liter bottle from SCA

never had a flat with it nor a slow leak, there is an obvious hole in the tread on one of my caravan tyres and I can see where the stuff has seeped out and healed it.

airing down takes longer as the valve hole diameter gets smaller

TPMS takes longer to react but works

Also, bonus , I found if you install it right it automatically helps dynamically balances your wheel. take the weight off your wheel and pour in 750ml = no more death wobble.

Currently on the Defender I'm running 5oz balance bags in 3 tyres and slime in one, but I doubt you can use balance beads and slime together.

Also its great stuff to lubricate your tyre beads with when doing repairs, it slips straight on and beads seal to the rim easier.

When working for Aus. Post riding postie bikes, for a while our new bikes came with green goo inside, supposed to seep out & seal a puncture. Then word came down it had been declared carcinogenic, and was removed from service. Can't say about that product, but would be worth checking, Bob

i would not drink the green goo but I do spread it about on the beads with my fingers when changing tyres, it washes off with water, not had any ill effects that I know of, I think my Dyslexia, Attention Deficit Disorder and Agoraphobia was well established before using these products.

I am with a four wheel drive club. Last night there was a demonstration of the threeway works product. Absolutely amazing stuff. It will fill a 15mm hole. It never goes of and can be transferred from tyre to tyre. Cools your tyres as you travel so reduces over heating of your tyres. Can be washed of with water. Won`t block your valve as you deflate. Saw the bloke drive a stake into a tyre and as he pulled it out it sealed instantly. The repair is guaranteed for the life of the tyre. Product is kevlar fibres and inorganic fillers in a suspension fluid. Get a hole and it is filled with kevlar. Not real cheap at $50 for a litre and you need two litres for a 4wd. You can also get it in twenty litre drums at $750 or $900 will get you twenty litres of a heavy duty sealer that fills 30mm holes. The heavy duty is not available in the one litre bottles.
