    Gasmate Pizza Oven

Just got one of the above for $299 on special at Rays Outdoors, Rothwell. Had a look on the web after assembly (I know. Doing that can lead to arguments) & the best price I saw was an online place at $499. They only had one left I think. It does roasts, bread etc so we'll be using it instead of the electric oven.

I've had a similar model to that for the last couple of years. I think it may be a gasmate and perhaps the older model. They are great in summer. I cook everything from pizzas to roasts in them. If you like Yorkshire puddings give them a go in it because the oven can get to and maintain such a high heat especially when you want the oil hot before pouring the mixture in. Enjoy!

I'm keen as on a pizza oven. A whole outdoor kitchen actually.

I'm going to have a crack at building one from scratch, although the pre fab'd one's don't look too bad.

Just finishing off our food prep room out the back of the shed here, where we'll be doing all our butchering from now on as well as sausages, hams, prosciutto and salami's. Once that is done get busy on the outdoor kitchen on the back deck with wood fired oven.

    I'm feeling hungry.
    Cheers

    A workmate has one.
He is VERY happy with his.
Was looking at one myself, but wanted wood fired and smoke.
Workmate uses a stainless steel smoker box,$15 from Bunnings to create smoke in his.

I just got one for $279 from home and I love it. I have a new found taste for burnt pizza now!
It is a great addition to the garden kitchen and we did a lamb roast and veggies in it which was tasty and much better than cooking indoors with the extra heat that cooking indoors creates.
