    I think it is a possibility that LRA will now be sending me a letter re logo redesign.... - But then again we are a sleepy little lot down here....they probably won't even bother!

    Like most people, LRA probably use one of those maps of Australia that doesn't include Tasmania, so you might be safe.

    It will be interesting to see if you get a return on your investment. I have sponsored a few things in the past few years, each time has been a negative dollar return. I will keep sponsoring the basketball club I play for though.

    Hi Jon.

    Actually they raffle off the event primary sponsor spot each year, so not what you call a big outlay, they pay for advertising and tv/ radio etc...a good idea and after about 4 years it turned up for me !

    The vehicle i have built an engine for and provide some tech advice etc (a 2door rrc) is entered each year, the owner pays my raffle ticket as part of a sponsorship deal. i really don't get too over the top, he pays cost only on some parts, some i give him, and always go easy on time $ etc.

    I will be heading down on the Saturday, might camp out.

    I am looking forward to it, it was a good weekend last year.
