If his plan is to have the team pushed around the park by each team they plan then yes, it's very much going to plan.
I fear for them when they head north for the end of year tour let alone the rest of the Rugby Championship...
Ewan is working his magic, one step at a time. tick....tick.... Bob
Wallabies' win far from trivial
I’m pretty sure the dinosaurs died out when they stopped gathering food and started having meetings to discuss gathering food
A bookshop is one of the only pieces of evidence we have that people are still thinking

Of course it was important. They are the worst Aus team in a couple of decades, and desparate for a win. All you've really proved here is your exceedingly tedious talent at pointing out the obvious.
NIck
I'd like to know why the match was repeated on tv the following day, why did they not show the good match instead ??

Looks like some one agrees with me, and for being the worst Wallaby team for some time, there are a number of key players injured, especially in the forwards. And they are rebuilding, as for stating the obvious, you agree with me then. Bob . This bloke knows a bit about Rugby;
[ some more tedious , obvious, facts] edit oops, it's World Cup winning coach, Graham Henry. from Fox Sports.
"I don't think you are going to win games by playing chess-board rugby and kicking the balls in the air and chasing it.
"That's not the way Australians play, and they haven't got the forward pack that can give you that sort of dominance.
"I think they're trying to play the game the right way.
"They're struggling at the moment, but I think a couple of wins under Ewen will put them right.
"They'll gain some confidence. He'll gain some confidence, and they'll grow from it.''
McKenzie enjoyed remarkable success during his stint with the Queensland Reds, leading the Super Rugby outfit to the 2011 title.
Henry said the ARU made the right decision by appointing McKenzie over Jake White, who has taken the Brumbies to this year's final.
"Jake's South African, so he coaches the way he's developed his coaching over the years,'' Henry said.
"Jake has put his style in with the Brumbies. They're playing South African kind of rugby.
"Would it be successful at the next level?
"I think Australians would struggle with that style because you need dominance up front. If you haven't got dominance up front, you're buggered.''
Henry is now a coaching advisor to world No.10 Argentina, who take on the Wallabies in Perth on Saturday night.
The Pumas haven't beaten Australia since 1997, but showed plenty of fight in recent losses to South Africa and NZ.

well, a few more boxes ticked for Ewan then???
Still looking good for the end of year Tour?
It is starting to get deeply embarrassing watching the Wallabies, softest forward pack in the top 10, directionless backs.
The Puma's will overtake the Wallabies in the world rankings very quickly at this rate.
Ray,
What do you think now? I'm not too excited, they played well enough to beat the No. 10 side in the World, but their defence was woeful at times. Still, one step at a time. And yes, the end of season tour looks good, not saying they will win every game, but they will not be disgraced. South Africa & the All Blacks found the going tough in Rosario, in the first half of their games. As I said before, next season will be the time to mark this Wallaby side, after a few tests together. Softest forward pack in the top 10? You'll eat those words. Bob

I thought it was quite a good game, but a few strange moments like Cooper strutting round like a chicken before kicking the ball, then missing
Excellent scrum at 12 minutes into the game, went on for about 7 minutes before australia cleared the ball.
I think we saw a glimpse of the future , when Michael Foley came on for his first Test. Don't forget, there are only a handful of this present Wallaby side that have played a lot of Test Rugby. Argentina gave them time, the top sides don't. Our outside backs need someone like Muggleton to teach them how to defend. One tick at a time,Bob
