    pay CAMS some money,
it turns it from playing around into a lifestyle/obsession/grownups game.

Just a big lazy 5-6 litres rumbling away up front...ya can see the bonnet rise, with just a touch of the throttle, with all that low down torque, & the sound of a big V8, working hard, with a nice exhaust system....well, it's pure heaven for me!
Yep, always loved 'em, I grew up in the golden age of American Muscle, & whilst I've never owned an American Muscle Car, if I could, it would be a Dodge Challenger 426 Hemi R/T. Now that is the absolute ultimate.....For Me.
Does anyone remember the original "Vanishing Point" C1970, starring Barry Newman (Petrocelli!) & the Dodge Challenger?....Now THAT was a good car movie.
    Cheers, Pickles.
I love a big lazy eight too. Would love a Shelby Cobra. The one built in a Mustang body.

Some might have considered me a hoon when I knocked around Orange in this as a young bloke.

It looks a bit shinier these days, 351 Clevo with a T5

    .
I had a 1970 Challenger convertible with a Mopar Performance drag spec Hemi replacing the street Hemi and with a four speed. Bought it in 1973 from a Sydney car dealer who had lost his licence with it. I got married in 1975 and sold it for $5,000 to buy furniture and other household goods.

I saw one in Ellingson's Museum, Rogers, Minnesota in 2011 for sale for $250,000. Bugger.

600+ horsepower and could smoke wheels at 120 mph in 3rd. Actually it could wheelspin at will at virtually any speed in any gear. 12:1 compression and I ran it on 115/145 Avgas. It was my weekend play car. I had a company car as well. Bit of a bugger to drive in the wet.

"Merc V8s"???!!!... You are right my friend. We have a Mercedes Benz AMG C63..6.2LV8....Wifey was driving it, just after we bought it, and she pulls up outside a friend's house, he comes out, so she gives it a rev, he says, "Is that legal"?!!! But you're right,... the exhaust note is awesome.

    It's social taboo these days

Although, I've had 7 license losses, 1 driving disqualified, 2 police pursuits, 1 car impounded and just recently had a very expensive solicitor get me off a charge to keep me out of prison, due to my old record moreso than what I was summonsed for

Oh just incase anyone needs a good solicitor, pm me, I went from the magistrate kicking me out of court as he said I was facing a prison sentence to 3 demerit points and no licence loss, for a measly 3.5k

Mate, that is the "BEST" "RECORD", I've ever seen anyone post on ANY forum.
Don't suppose you'd care to elaborate on how you achieved these "milestones"?!
