hunter camping
Hi guys.
Was looking at camping on Stockton beach this weekend but have found that it is still closed off to camping. Can anyone recommend a low cost place to camp. The wadigans maybe?
Regards
Eck

HI Eck, there are quite a number of good camping areas around Dungog in the state forests. Also the Barrington Tops has lots of camping areas, mostly north of the Gloucester- Scone rd. Then there is the Nowendoc State Forest and National Park. All free. None are near the beaches, of course but might be cooler if the weather stays hot. Cheers, 130man.

Hi
We were recently looking at camping at Diamond Head, it is supposed to be a great spot.

Myall lakes national park at hawks nest has a variety of sites. I usually use the Stewart and Lloyd's campground.

Mt Sugarloaf (32deg 53'S 151deg 32'E), Sugarloaf Range - SW of Newcastle and closer to Stockton than the Wattagans.
