I can, with bowed head admit to having had run over someone who decided they should stop my car. With their body. Admitted to dropping the kids off at school, on foot as he'd been disqualified for drink driving. Spent the day at the pub and walked them home again. It was during this that stopping me became important.
Despite his statement, wouldn't stand up in court and say it, seems it was too overwhelming and so there was no "evidence" to prove what he did and so I was guilty. But that's another story.
There's several flaws in this story:
1. A biker pulled in front of the car and slowed down, forcing Lien to stop. Why?
Well,maybe I am a little bit confused,they looked very like motorcyclists to me,not "Bikers" they are the ones that usually ride "Harley's" not oriental road bikes.
What ever happened to 911?
I'd have been running them over at will,, and would not have let myself get blocked in,,, that's why we have "reverse" :eek:
Having been in a similar situation, with just one other vehicle involved, when troubles a-foot,,, no holes barred, whatever it takes. And it can all be done whilst on a phone,, ;)
The common theme in the news so far is he accidently hit one of the bikers then decided it was to dangerous to stop so drove off with them in pursuit and most of the video is after the first accident. When they caught him they only gave him a couple black eyes, so not hard core bikers then:angel:
Really what justifies driving off after and accident is it just because they are bike riders? What about people who refuse to pull over for police and drive to the cop shop on the phone saying they are being followed its happened before are they justified?:(
As has been said, we don't know what the whole story is.
But if the bikers were ****ing around on a public road and in so doing, caused the RR to nudge one of them and then they reacted violently, with a wife and kid in the car then I'd call fair game.
Normal people don't decide to run people over simply for the sake of a minor fender bender.
And even if he deserved it, no excuse for dragging him out of the car and laying into him in front of his wife and kids.
