Not saying they did the right thing but the original incident has a biker rider in hospital possibly a paraplegic not so minor and not the one in the video
Video Shows Motorcyclists Pull Driver from Car in NYC, Beat Him - ABC News
seems some of the riders thought the hurt biker was dead:(
Yes I do ride bikes and I have seem so riders and drivers do really stupid things:(
-
Read that article though.
They're surrounding him, for what good purpose?
They slow down and he (quote) "tapping the fender of one of the motorbikes"
"Twenty to 30 bikers then surrounded the SUV and started gesturing at him, the video shows.
The motorcyclists then began damaging the Range Rover and slashed one the tires, causing the driver to take off and flee north and then exit the highway as his tire deflated"
He then hits one of the bikers and according to the article breaks the blokes leg.
Fair.
****ing.
Game.
:censored::censored::censored:
I've spent a bit of time on a bike and I'm normally incredibly impressed with the behaviour of bike riders, including in large groups. Car drivers not so much, but if it were me in this blokes situation I wouldn't be having a bar of it.

Their annual ride! so they are a group or club, not very clubman like! but to haul him out and belt him, enough to hospitalise him! the cops should be charging everyone of them for riding in a manner dangerous, failing to give signals and get the motorcycles closely examined.
-
I can tell you he would need to worry about a wheel chair if I was driving. And as for the ones behind him when caught in traffic, they'd better have been able to run. FAST. R in this case means race.
-
Surprised the door wasn't lock the moment trouble started. Footage doesn't clearly show what and when it all started.
If I hadn't started it then you can bet your bottom dollar they would not be blocking me in if I felt threatened.
I have had trouble with a large group of rebels. At least one of them was smart enough to notice I capt being cut of and was getting angry. He then blocked the rest of the bikers from continuing to cat me off so I acknowledged his effort till they were all gone.

Lunatics, and watching them chase the RR a danger to themselves also, should be removed from the road and society in general with a mob mentality like that.
I too wondered why a handgun wasn't produced :o, this IS the Us of A after all! Maybe a streetsweeper would've been more effective:twisted:, and I don't mean the 4 wheeled, water spraying 10mph variety, either:cool:
An unfortunate collision doesn't need to degenerate to this fiasco :(

Nothing surprises me about the good old U S of A any more. However, we can't talk, look at the Gold Coast. Lately a driver was shot during a road rage incident. By someone wearing a surgical glove on the hand holding the weapon , it was reported. Shows a certain amount of intent , I would say. However, what struck me was during the TV news report, the reporter called the Range Rover an S.U.V. . :D Priceless ! Bob

Well,to a TV reporter if it is not a car or ute,or a truck anything else is a SUV just as long as they get a 15second video grab for the news flash! everything else revolves around football.
-
It's the US. It's either a truck or an SUV.
I much prefer the Au/NZ lingo of ute or 4wd. But virtually no-one in the US recognises the rangerover as an offroad vehicle. They think EAS access height is as high as they go.
This just in from Pirate:

You might need a pirate account to view it. Terrain response now has a "motorcycle" setting.

If they felt threatened then why not push the 911 button on the rear view mirror that these cars are fitted with.???
My guess is there is a lot more not shown on the footage that went on prior and he might have regretted his actions.
