The most confusing part about it was that there was also traffic turning right into King William frrom the traditional right turn lane at the same time. The "hook" turn was mainly made by buses / taxis coming from the railway station / casino.
When I drove through that intersection a few weeks ago though, I noted that they have now extended the tram lines down King William from where they used to terminate in Victoria Square, and the trams turn left from King William into North Terrace towards the railway station - so this may have changed the "road rules" in this area.
Modern progress hey - I used to know Adelaide CBD like the back of my hand. This trip, all I wanted to do was get straight through in a hurry and get the hell out of there. :D
Came into Adelaide down Glen Osmond Road, straight through the centre of town and out the other side, and got up to Clare where we camped for the night.
